    Bo Irwin is excited to be back at Genesius. He first appeared on the Genesius stage in Miss Saigon in 2012. Since then, life has taken him all over the place, but he always seems to find his way back to his theatre home. He is honored to be a part of telling such an important and powerful story. He would like to thank Larry for the opportunity and his incredible girlfriend Sophie for her unconditional and unceasing love and support.

    Actor Spotlight - Rosana “Sani” Pereira (Joan & choreographer)

    Why should audiences come to the Fun Home?

    Sani: “Although Fun Home may not be your typical type of musical, it is a show that embodies so much heart and soul and what it means to find yourself. I’m so excited to be portraying Joan and to bring this story to audiences!”

    Sani is incredibly excited to be a part of the Fun Home cast as both actor and choreographer! No stranger to the stage, she was last seen in West Side Story as Consuela. Some of her favorite acting credits include Rock of Ages, In The Heights, Rent and American Idiot and she choreographed Thoroughly Modern Millie earlier this year. She would like to thank Larry Fecho for the opportunity to play Joan and to be a part of such an incredible piece of theatre. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their constant love and support, and to thank Ryan for always being her number one supporter and biggest fan.

    Actor Spotlight - Alexander Hamel (Christian Bechdel)

    Why should audiences come to the Fun Home?

    Alexander: “You should come to the Fun Home because there's something that everyone can connect with and the music is fun, real, and memorable."

    Alexander Hamel (Christian Bechdel) is happy to be a part of his first Genesius Theatre production. His favorite previous roles include Into the Woods (Narrator), Lion King, Jr. (Young Simba), The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (Witch’s Dwarf), and The Wizard of Oz (Lollipop Guild). Alex loves acting, singing, reading, writing, dancing, creating, and making memories with his brothers and friends. He thanks Larry for this opportunity (special shout out to Amy too!), the Fun Home cast and crew, and his family and friends for always being there.
